Fabulous forties floral still life by listed artist Lucile Blanch.
Original pastels by Lucile Blanch are very rare, and this one is quite nice.
We've decided to keep it in the original frame, leaving it up to you to change it out if necessary.
The painting measures 14.5" x 19". The frame measures 24" x 30".
Signed lower middle. Very good vintage condition. The frame is includes.
Painter and lithographer Lucille Linquist Blanch, born in Hawley, Minnesota in 1895, was, by her mid-thirties, already represented by a number of paintings in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art. She would receive a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1933.
