An unsigned round walnut coffee table by Cesare Occhi (New Hope School). Purchased directly from the estate of a relative of Mr. Occhi in Bucks County Pa. Cesare Occhi apprenticed with George Nakashima and the quality of his work and relationship to Mr. Nakashima is apparent. The legs are proper Nakashima Studio dowel legs and the top has the classic bevel edge that so many imitators get wrong.
This and several other of my items is being used in a staging of the 2025 Bucks County Designer House and will be on hold until 5/27/2025.
