This is a vibrant impressionist abstract oil on canvas painting depicting an Caribbean or Spanish fishing village with a women with fish in their hands, three other fishermen in canoes and in the background a rural hamlet with blue mountains. Artist signed lower right corner by J. P. BEATTRE. C,1985. Created with oils on stretcher canvas. It has been mounted in a wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.
