This work, Rust Belt 49228, is a part of a multi-series of works produced by Lance, and was inspired by the area where Lance was raised, a small town in Southern Michigan.

Lance Kleinsmith earned his B.F.A at Chapman University in the early 1990s. He has worked numerous years in the motion picture industry for both Walt Disney Studios and Trimark Pictures (now Lionsgate) and has shown in both solo and group exhibitions both in the United States and Australia. His works can be seen in private collections throughout both regions. See less
