Elegant vintage Moroccan Moorish pendant lantern, handcrafted in Morocco circa 1980s. Its dramatic diamond-shaped silhouette is constructed across eleven graduated levels, with multifaceted clear glass panels held within an intricate bronze-finished metal framework.
The geometric construction gives this Moroccan glass chandelier an architectural quality from every angle. When illuminated, the numerous glass panels reflect the light while the open metal framework creates subtle patterns throughout the surrounding space. A small hinged access door allows the bulbs to be changed easily without dismantling the fixture.
Rewired in the United States with a cluster of three lights, this hardwired pendant is in working condition and ready for professional installation. The coordinating dark bronze-finished chain and round ceiling canopy shown in the photographs are included. The chain can be adjusted by a professional installer to accommodate the desired ceiling height.
The lantern body measures approximately 27 inches high by 18 inches wide and 18 inches deep. Please note that this measurement refers to the lantern body and does not include the additional chain or ceiling canopy.
This vintage Moroccan pendant light complements Moorish, Spanish Colonial, Mediterranean, Hollywood Regency and eclectic interiors. Its clear glass and warm bronze-toned finish allow it to work equally well in an entry hall, stairwell, dining room, bedroom or covered interior courtyard.
Good vintage condition with wear and natural patina consistent with age and use. Rewired in the United States. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
