This is a pair of transparent blown glass "Pompadour" vases that were intentionally created to also serve as candle holders. Referred to as Model #1945 in the catalog, they were originally designed by Nanny Still (1926 - 2009) during the period she worked with the glasswork studio Riihimäen Lasi (Finland) and made some time between 1967 and 1973.
They both measure 2.5" in diameter and 8.75" in height (6.35 cm x 21.59 cm).
