About:
Frederick E. Reimers was born in New York City, in 1911 and passed away in Westfield, NJ on 22nd May 1994 where he had resided for 34 years.
Before retiring in 1976, he was a chemical engineer for 16 years for Amstar Co. in New York City. Before that, he was a chemical engineer for Merck & Co. in Rahway for 15 years. He was also a ceramics teacher at the Westfield Recreation Department for 15 years.
Mr. Reimers was a local artist who belonged to numerous art groups – The Westfield Art Association, the Somerset Art Association, and the Milburn-Short Hills Art Center.
