The shelving unit is ready to be mounted to your wall. The mounting hardware is already attached. You just need screws. The shelves are fairly deep which feels like a luxury when comparing it to your typical mounted shelving system.

There is a chip in the wood in the upper lefthand corner of the piece. I smoothed it out and color matched it, so it is not terribly noticeable. A few nail holes from previous mounting hardware have been filled, sealed, and finished. Some light wear on the base but, that can be fixed up prior to shipment. Message or call Chairish and have them relay the message to me that you would like the base to be refinished.

The whole pieces is made from the most beautiful examples of curly maple I've seen. The chatoyance of the wood is spectacular. No maker's mark. See less
