An original vintage oil painting a portrait of a seated nude young woman by Barbara A. Dahlin. Presented framed in a quality wood frame. Canvas size 30 x 40" overall framed size 31" x 41".
Barbara A. Dahlin (1931-2000) Mrs. Dahlin attended the Hartford Ct. Art School on scholarship, graduating in 1954. She also attended Central CT. College where she earned her teaching certificate. She did commercial artwork for Steigers in Hartford. She started teaching school as an art teacher in the Hartford and Newington area. In the mid 60's, Mrs. Dahlin was named the head of the Daniel Hand High School Art Department, Madison, retiring in 1994.
