Depicted sitting on a high lotus throne, wearing a large decorated crown before a flame-shaped mandola and pair of flower posts, long earrings that touch the shoulders and ornate necklace and belt with rosettes and beads. The long diaphanous robe covers his body and gracefully falls around the feet. The face broad with smile, downcast eyes under arched brows. Hands in teaching mudra expressing compassion. The Future Buddha is believed to bring peace and harmony to sentient beings. Statue is beautifully made, weighing at 2.4 lb, in remarkable condition. See less
