Oh the irony -- back in the day when doctors (and others!) casually smoked in the office. This art deco style porcelain ashtray, with crisp green on white coloration and great graphic appeal, is the perfect gift for yourself or for a medical professional friend. Fabricated by GRANIT porcelain factory which was founded in Kispest Hungary in 1922. With the Art Deco styling and company history, we believe this piece would have been produced in the first decade of the firm's existence. Marks en verso (see photo).
Excellent vintage condition; vibrant color, no cracks, no chips, no crazing.
