Vintage Expressionist Figural Nude Painting, Anthony Ferrara, circa 1989. Artist signed, dated, and titled “Nude Red Background”. Oil paint on canvas, framed, with wire hanger on back.
Anthony A. Ferrara (1930-2012) was a Philadelphia artist who graduated from the Tyler School of Art in 1963, and later studied with Ben Eisenstat at Fleisher Art Memorial. He is perhaps best known for his plain air cityscapes of Philadelphia.
