Vintage Expressionist Figural Painting, Anthony Ferrara, circa 1999. Artist signed, dated, and titled “Nude Next To Barred Window”. Oil paint on canvas, framed, with wire hanger on back.
Anthony A. Ferrara (1930-2012) was a Philadelphia artist who graduated from the Tyler School of Art in 1963, and later studied with Ben Eisenstat at Fleisher Art Memorial. He is perhaps best known for his plain air cityscapes of Philadelphia.
