A rare estate find, an antique 19th century Chinese export vase mounted into a table lamp in the 1940s, in vibrant hues of blue with medallions on two sides framing garden relieved white/blue Geisha. On the opposite sides are lovely hand painted scenes with birds perching on branches, surrounded by florals. There are lovely borders as well with a Greek border pattern which shows the wonderful hand painted and thoughtful detail in this vase.
The hardware of the lamp is brass with aged patina. Golden electrical cord with Bakelite plug.
The vase sits on an asian weathered wooden base.
Overall this vintage/antique table lamp is in good original condition, it has been tested and works but a new socket is recommended for safety reason.

No shades.
NB: two very similar vases have sold on other upscale platforms for $1495 and $1795. It is also featured on a museum website with cranes design. See last pictures for documentation.
