biography
ugo nespolo, born in mosso (biella), graduated from the albertina academy of fine arts in turin and holds a degree in modern literature. His beginnings in the italian art scene date back to the 1960s, approaching pop art, conceptual art and arte povera (alberto burri, alighiero boetti, giulio paolini, piero gilardi, etc.). Never absolutely linked to a strand, his production is immediately characterized by a pronounced ironic, transgressive imprint, by a personal sense of fun that will always represent a sort of trademark.
the 1970s represent a fundamental passage for nespolo: he wins the bolaffi prize (1974), he realizes the museum (1975-'76), a ten-meter-long painting that marks the beginning of a never exhausted vein of rereading-decomposition-invention of other people's art. Also in those years he began experimenting with the technique of inlay, a unique and distinctive language that would characterize ugo nespolo's artistic production in the following decades.
the 1980s represent the heart of the "american period": ugo nespolo spends part of the year in the states and the streets, shop windows, and hamburger vendors of new york become the protagonists of his paintings.
the author of numerous exhibitions around the world, nespolo has also been involved in numerous artistic collaborations, including those with caffarel, rai, giro d'italia, de agostini, swatch and campari.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
