An Asian Chinoiserie style faux reptile leather trunk, unbranded. Wood frame covered with artificial reptilian leather, decorative brass hardware, non-locking decorative Asian key, dual brass handles and brass feet. Features roomy interior and paper lined with Chinese writing to give appearance of age. Includes non-locking decorative Asian key. Likely made in Asia, in the mid 20th Century.
Measures: 32.5w 18.25d 14.25h
Very good vintage condition with signs of normal previous use, particularly to edges of trunk. Lid functions properly. Has one non-locking decorative Asian key, possibly not original to piece. Structurally sound. Condition Rating: 8.5 / 10.0
