Dan Jones is known for his sweeping brush strokes with patterns of bright colors to create visual statements, often landsape views. Jones was inspired to pursue art after viewing a work of Picasso in the early 1980's. His works of art are housed in museums, private and corporate collections in both the USA and Europe, including the Ecce Art Gallery.
This original oil on canvas painting is an early work of Jones, the view is from his art studio window in the mid 1980's in Portland, OR. This painting is one of his larger size works with beautiful and vivid colors. Jones works of art, similar in size and content have listed for sale in the $3-4k range. This painting is a beautiful example of his work.

The wood frame is very thin about 1/4" and appears to be original, in fair condition. One small area of paint that lifted, the paint is that lifted is not loose, may of been like this when painted. The small area of lift is located near the upper right side of the painting, shown in two detailed pictures. less
