Designed by famed Mid-Century furniture designer Vladimir Kagan, this iconic "cloud" sofa features smooth elegant lines with a graceful flair and curvilinear shape.
About Vladimir Kagan:
A German born into a Russian cabinetmaking family, Kagan immigrated to the US during WWII. Kagan approached each piece as an individual expression of an idea, composed and recomposed from the success of previously used design elements. His pieces are “vessels for the human body” and do not lend themselves to mass-production, making his designs relatively rare.

- This sofa is upholstered in its original fabric, so shows some signs of wear from use due to its age. … moreThis sofa is upholstered in its original fabric, so shows some signs of wear from use due to its age. There is light fading in the upholstery mostly at the seat, and the wood feet show some scratching on the front face. The foot that has the most significant scratching is pictured, although due to the low profile of the sofa it is not visible from typical sight lines. Outside of these cosmetic imperfections, the sofa is in excellent condition: there is no puddling at the seat or tears in the fabric. The fill is still even and firm and sits comfortably. The feet could be easily painted or refinished if desired. less
