This sculpture by Tony Trezza was cast in pigmented concrete with marble aggregate from a clay original. Artist’s initials (TT) on corner. The fluid I forms allow the light to play off the surface. This piece is unique due to the material, as most of Tony’s maquettes were made in plaster only. Perhaps it represents a mythological creature…
This sculpture was a collaboration between Tony Trezza and sculptor Katherine Stanek, who is an expert in sculpture casting as well as being a renowned Philadelphia sculptor.
(A much larger version exists In Carrara marble. See the last two photos for the marble sculpture, which I intend to list for sale separately.)
