She holds a significant place in Asian cultures - the Goddess of Compassion, Mercy, and Kindness. Bodhisattva Guan Yin.

Intricately & beautifully hand carved from the praying Monk/Buddha atop, to the flowing robes down to the usual positioning of the hands - normally reserved for the “Thousand Hand / Zhunti depictions. All this makes this Kwan Yin a special piece.
Excellent condition - highly collectable & desirable figure..
Mid to Late 19th. Century.
Comes with own custom hand made antique wood stand on four small detailed legs, marked with hand carved China underneath.
