This squat, round vessel was created by Odette Berlot and Yvonne Mussiett for ODYV in a classic art deco design. It has a white, bubble-like textured glazed surface both above and below a wide, painted, unglazed center stripe. The inside is fully glazed. This item is 6” high, 8” in diameter and on a 3-3/4” diameter base. The bottom is imprinted with the “ODYV 543” brand and model number. The middle band and neck are painted in a flat matte reddish-brown with wear appropriate with age. Overall, the piece is in good condition with no cracks or chips.

ODYV - Odette Berlot and Yvonne Mussiett, designed this vessel between 1927-1940. Besides ceramics, ODYV was renowned to creating beautiful sculptures, clocks and vases. See less
