The origin of this piece is most likely Italy based upon the markings. The ebonized/lacquered frame is the foundation for beautifully done hand-painted Asian subject matter with foliate elements balanced over the entire mirror. The scroll work on the top is adorned with black finials that flank medallion top of gold swirl pattern. This mirror will be a stunning statement piece wherever it is hung. A remarkable work of art!
