- The bowl has one imperfection. Somebody (not me!) tried to fill in a chip on the lid with a material … moreThe bowl has one imperfection. Somebody (not me!) tried to fill in a chip on the lid with a material that has turned yellow. It is on the inside of the lid on one edge. I do not think it is removable. It is small and does not affect the exterior of the piece at all. The interior edge of the bowl has that ding with the yellow mark. Otherwise, the the bowl and lid are in excellent condition. The porcelain is not craized or chipped. The gildingis intact. There is no other discoloration. less
