From the unique shape to the modernist design details, this tray is just stunning, and in amazing condition for the age, with few scuffs or fading and the wood handles are also in superb condition, making it highly sought after and collectable. Georges Briard (May 17, 1917 – July 30, 2005) was a designer in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He is most well known for his signature dishware and glassware - everything from cups and plates to gold plated serving dishes. His signature collections were retailed at noted department stores, such as Neiman Marcus and Bonwit Teller.
