An original vintage oil painting on canvas of a woman playing guitar signed lower left by Barbara A. Dahlin.
Presented in a vintage silver gilt solid wood frame.
Canvas size 24" x 36” overall framed size 27" x 39".
Barbara A. Dahlin (1931-2000) Mrs. Dahlin attended the Hartford Ct. Art School on scholarship, graduating in 1954. She also attended Central CT. College where she earned her teaching certificate. She did commercial artwork for Steigers in Hartford. She started teaching school as an art teacher in the Hartford and Newington area. In the mid 60's, Mrs. Dahlin was named the head of the Daniel Hand High School Art Department, Madison Connecticut, retiring in 1994.
