Gold over black cage style frame taking on the form of a hot air balloon featuring gilt tole acanthus leaf embellishment. This striking piece is dripping with clear hand carved crystal prisms, beads and smoke glass prisms. In addition glass rosettes further adorn throughout. Two hand blown etched balls are suspended from inside the cage. An additional matching large ball with crystal beads and glass rosettes hangs from the bottom of the chandelier. Black with gold candle covers completes the restoration. The original canopy and a new black steel chain is included. The chandelier with chain and canopy measures 68 inches long, which can be shortened by removing links from 36 inch chain. A one of a kind find that will look magical hung in the right room. See less
