Cake Breakers are used to gently break apart delicate cakes, such an angel food cake and were at the height of their popularity in the mid-century era. This vintage cake breaker "knife" also known as cake rake with Sterling Silver Handle & Stainless comb was created for and sold by Huesgen's Jewelry - Devils Lake, N.D. (now known as Ritter Huesgen Jewelers), a very elegant and extravagant piece for the time, it was most likely a wedding or anniversary gift. The simple design features a Sterling Silver handle & Stainless Comb, the handle is marked "WEBSTER STERLING" and it comes in the original box! Perfect for your next party or event!
