This is one of our most extraordinary and unique offerings – From a Shenandoah Valley Virginia estate this spectacular classical … more This is one of our most extraordinary and unique offerings – From a Shenandoah Valley Virginia estate this spectacular classical five piece mahogany & marquetry bedroom set (Italian?) dates from the late 1800's /early 1900’s. Each piece has truly remarkable inlay work that is breathtaking in its detail and craftsmanship. The inlay woods include Mahogany, Honduran Rosewood, Tulipwood and Satinwood. The low dresser and night stand have custom cut “Nero Portoro” black marble with gold and white veining.

The set includes:
- Two twin beds (80" x 43" with headboards that are 48" tall);
- Marble-topped night stand (36" tall, 13" wide, and 13" deep);
- Gentlemen's Dresser (59" high, 41" wide and 21" deep), includes an upper section with doors and pull out drawers.
- Marble-topped Chest of Drawers with two large, deep bottom drawers and 2 side-by-side upper drawers (37" tall, 53" wide, and 23" deep);
Note: There is an accompanying free hanging heavy beveled and framed mirror, and while a nice compliment to the other pieces, it does not appear to be part of the original set (34" high, 44" wide and 1.5" deep).

If you have an elegant Bed & Breakfast and are looking for a collection that would create an exceptional “theme room”, or simply a very unique bedroom set for a guest room, this collection would be a lovely addition to any stately home.
