This spoon … Read more Dating from the late 19th century, this bright-cut ice cream spoon was a favored form of the era. This spoon features a gold wash on the top and underside of the bowl. The motifs are stalk of bamboo with leaves on the topside of the bowl and scrollwork and a monogram “P” on the handle. There is a “sterling” mark on the reverse of the handle along with a “patent 79” mark. This spoon comes in a black presentation box. The spoon weighs 1.31 oz and is by A. C. Konarson of Scranton, Pa.
