Mid-century modern tall wooden lamp, called "Gruvwood" . Wooden slats, in walnut, with ebonized black metal base and top. Original mid-century shade. European Scandinavian /Danish styling. Featured in 1964 World's Fair Exposition "The House of Good Taste" in New York City. it's Dubbed Gruvwood, and copied by European designers and manufacturers.
American Paul McCobb influenced design.
I love it because of it's original oversized shade, over 3 feet tall together!

Original wiring. Lamp works. 3 way off and on turn button switch which may need an internal adjustment. Stays on, if moved to the rcorrect position. Shade has a few small inside cracks that can be seen when lamp is illuminated. Lamp base is in excellent condition. No scratches, amazing vintage condition. Dimensions: 15" tall wooden base 23" from bottom of lamp to base of bulb 28" to top of bulb 35" overall from bottom to finial top
