Mid century modern pottery ashtrays from Heath Ceramics by Edith Heath of Sausalito, California. Sleek form and subtle matte glaze. The exterior is an olive almost khaki green, the interior is a speckled grayish cobalt blue which pops yet blends against the exterior. Please see detailed images.

History: This is the original classic design that was the one item that Brian, Edith Heath's husband, designed for Heath. It became one of their most popular sellers due to it's widespread use as the "safety ashtray". The tapered notches self-extinguished cigarettes that were left forgotten.
