The ship's details are exacting with full, decorated sails, ores out. some type of figurehead at the bow and there are shields waiting for battle in the true Scandinavian manner. This interesting ship is floating on the open sea. The scalloped rim adds to the design. Measurements for this fabulous creation=Diameter=8-1/2 inches. Please note that the plate stand is not included. This fabulous vintage 1980s dish has been well cared for, displayed only and is in excellent condition. There are a couple of blemishes created during the sand firing process, but they do not mar the beauty of this piece. This marvelous Viking plate is the perfect addition to your pewter collection for the the avid Viking collector! See less
