It features a conical form that flares dramatically at its shoulders before tapering to an economical circular mouth. The exterior of the piece has been hand glazed in java and cafe au lait ones against a warm tan back ground. The form recalls both antique African pottery and neolithic Chinese vessels, but also appears unquestionably modern. The glaze has a beautiful organic aesthetic and a sophisticated palate that is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling. This piece would be a wonderful addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid Century to contemporary. Excellent vintage condition.
