On the side of the … Read more Charming hand carved children's clogs by Swedish Cobblers in late 19th or early 20th century. On the side of the shoes there is a mark that says 8X which is probably the shoe size. There is also Swedish writing on the side of clogs that appears to be a Swedish name. Each shoe has a tiny hold near the heal indicating Right or Left Shoe. The carving marks are clearly visible. This is a lost art form & would be a charming decorative element in a library, display case, etc. Rare antique. Two little works of art - previously loved. See less
