Created in China during the Midcentury period, this bedside cabinet features a linear shape perfectly complimented by a yellow lacquer boasting a nicely distressed patina. The cabinet showcases an unusual lift top opening to reveal a convenient storage space also accessible through the front doors. These doors, adorned with slightly raised panels, are fitted with traditional brass hardware made of a rectangular backplate with shaped pulls and small key. The lower section is made of three panels imitating the presence of drawers. The sides are made of recessed panels and the back showcases a darker color. The ensemble is raised on four feet, with horse hoof extremities in the front.
