Biography
Giampaolo Bertozzi: Born in Borgo Tossignano in 1957 and Stefano Dal Monte Casoni: born in Lugo Di Romagna in 1961 met during their studies at the Gaetano Ballardini Ceramic Art Institute in Faenza in Italy. In 1980 they founded a ceramic production company called "Bertozzi & Casoni S.N.C." thus inserting into the tradition of the workshops. Their work was presented in the Italian Pavilion of the Venice Biennale in 2009 and 2011. Among the personal exhibitions in museums, let us quote a study at the Castello Sforzesco and at the Museo Internazionale Delle Ceramiche de Faenza (2008-09), a personal exhibition at The Fondazione Museo Pino Pascali, in Polignano a Mare in Italy (2011-12) and "Bertozzi & Casoni": Timeless "at the Beelden Aan Zeen Den Haag :: Netherlands (2013). Among its recent personal exhibitions in museums Let us quote the Mambo Museo of Arte Moderna Bologna (2015-16); Palazzo Poggi Bologne (2017); Museo Marca Catanzaro (2019); and Museo Morandi Bologne (2019-20). In 2017 the Museo Bertozzi & Casoni a space of Permanent exhibition devoted to their work has opened its doors to Cavallerizza Ducale de Sassuolo in Italy. Bertozzi & Casoni is currently working in Imola near Bologna in Italy
