This is a bold vintage abstract painting by listed artist Claude Blin (Born 1931). Oil on canvas. Signed lower left. Mid 20th century modern. I was drawn to this painting because it reminded me of my dog Cosmo, but you may see something totally different in it. That's the beauty of abstract art! The painting itself measures 25 1/2" x 32" and is displayed in a period ebonized wood frame measuring 26 1/2" x 32 1/2".
Condition: Some minor wear at the edges where the canvas meets the frame. Light stretcher marks. And a patch to the verso, lower right. The last photo shows that section of the painting. If you didn't see the patch, you would never know there was a repair there.
