Re condition: There are bits of paint loss as shown in photos. There is a slight "bulge" at the mid-bottom where the dark green tree is which does not show up in photos. I believe this could be restored if desired but is actually not easily noticed. The piece has been priced to reflect this. Age is estimated.


Artist Biography
Reva Jackman (January 16, 1886 – November 1985) was an American painter, muralist, printmaker, designer and illustrator born in Wichita, Kansas. She also lived in Illinois & California and studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with Wellington J. Reynolds and in Paris with André Lhote and Frank Armington. She was an artist with the Federal Art Project and painted post office murals; notable works include Trek of the Covered Wagon to Indiana in Attica, Indiana and Pioneer Home in Bushnell Illinois.
