Originally used as a water bucket at a well, the paint color was likely added at a later date. Notice the darker coloration of the bucket’s wood interior that changes to a lighter shade about 3/4 of the way up due to its original purpose of housing water. The exterior color is a fabulous light teal or ice blue. Twisted wire is wrapped around the staves, and adds to its rustic style. The handle is a forged iron swing handle. There are signs of wear and some surface paint cracks, but nothing compromising to the integrity of this wooden water bucket. It would be a great bucket to display holding boxwoods, blankets, or could be used for other storage purposes. This is a unique, authentic vintage farmhouse wooden water bucket that has modern appeal. The shape, brilliant color, and rustic appearance of this wooden bucket is absolutely stunning! See less
