Vintage kokeshi made by world famous Kiyohara Takao.
Dimensions: H 30 cm, diameter 9 cm.
Kokeshi (こ け し), are simple wooden Japanese dolls without arms or legs that have been made for centuries. Originally as a toy for children.
Today kokeshi are sought after as interior decoration.
Because kokeshi are also considered good luck charms, they are very popular as gifts and suitable for any occasion that involves congratulations.
