It dates to the 1980s. It is one of 2 that we purchased (see companion fashion drawing listing in our shop) and was illustrated and signed by the artist, Jean Atta Legier. It is done in watercolor and pen and ink. It features a 2 piece ensemble in purple, lavender and stripes of gold, red, black, etc . The 2 piece highly stylized ensemble is worm with an oversized shawl showing strong graphic designs of swirled patterns, stripes with lengthy fringe. Note the matching hat! This is a chic dramatic fashion design for the woman who wants to make a "statement". The image is stylized and "framed" with tonal lavender speckling.
