JARU - Jaru Metallic Silver Glaze Ceramic Nude Sculptures, 1970s Signed.
Both Pieces Are Solid, No Cracks, No Chips, No Kidding. Excellent Vintage Condition With Light Minute Surface Scuff Under The Thigh Of One Of The Sculptures.
These Two Pieces Are Truly A Beautiful Example Of Mid Century Modern Ceramic Sculptures.
Some Say This Could Be Platinum Glaze, But I Don't Know That To Be True.
Jaru Art Products Started In The 1950s Till 1968 By Husband And Wife Team Jack & Ruth Hirsh. They Started Their Productions In The City Of Culver City, California. JARU Is JA From Jack, And RU From Ruth. After Changing Hands In 1968 JARU Stayed In Business Till The 1990s.
Sculpture On The Left Is: Eleven Inches Wide by Five and One Half Inches Deep by Six and One Half Inches Tall.
Sculpture On The Right Is: Eight Inches by Nine and One Half Inches Deep by Nine and One Half Inches Tall.
