Sizes: width 26” - depth 27”/29" - height 36” - seat height 15” - seat depth 20” - arm height 20”. All sizes are approximate.
Material: Italian boucle' in white, sourced in Italy, a blend of viscose, wool, linen, cotton, and synthetic. Black metal feet/legs and brass feet caps.
Condition: these armchairs are in very good condition. The metal black legs have been repainted. Brand new upholstery in white boucle'.
Giovanni Zoncada, widely known as 'Nino', was born in Venice in 1898. He embarked on a successful furniture and interior design career after graduating from the Accademia delle Belle Arti. In 1923, he joined the interior furnishing department of the renowned shipyard Cantiere Naval Triestino in Monfalcone. Nino's focus primarily revolved around luxury ships, and he made notable contributions to projects like Costa Crociere's cursive line during the 1940s and 1950s. He also collaborated with architect Gio Ponti on the interior design of renowned cruise liners, including Conte Biancamano and Conte Grande.
Nino Zoncada's furniture collections gained international recognition and were distributed in the United States by Altamira New York.
