God of love in Roman mythology, the child is represented sitting on a rock, looking at his fingers, head down. A crown of roses decorates his wavy hair, which frames his smiling and benevolent baby face. Lightly dressed in a drape, the little deity holds her large bow to the ground, between her feet and the rock. The parterre is dressed with roses, foliage and vine leaves.
A graceful bronze that will delight lovers of this Italian renaissance representation.
