The top which is 2 pieces, come off to reveal the inside of the Chinese maple wood rice bin. The iron bindings that keep the bin together are obviously hand fashioned, which adds character to this Asian antique. I go to San Francisco every year searching for treasures, and this antique rice bin appealed to the eclectic designer in me. See less
