-Original 1957 GEORGE Matthews HARDING Portrait PAINTING 58x43" Framed Oil / Board Preacher Man Expressionist Art Mid-Century Modern
-Large-scale expressionist portrait, later work by noted artist GEORGE MATTHEWS HARDING (1882-1959; Philadelphia, PA). Oil paint on masonite board, mounted in heavy, solid wood frame. Signed lower left. Stamped "Estate of George Harding" verso.
-Approximate dimensions: 58" high, 43" wide, 4" deep (frame); 49" x 34" sight.
-Very good vintage condition with light wear and no significant damages. Some dust and accretion. The frame shows moderate wear and some separations at the mitered corners (see photos). Cleaning or restoration has not been attempted by us.
-Colors: brown, blue, green, orange, white, black, gray / grey, beige.
