A pair of charming painted tôle figural compositions of children playing with whippets, adapted into lamps. In classic Tyrolean outfits, the children and whippet dogs are well modeled and carefully painted in life like colors. Each has been mounted to a copper finished wooden base and fitted with high quality lamp hardware and new hand stitched écru silk shades. Good antique condition with some signs of age wear and patina to the painted metal, one with some distress/deformation to the the edge of the “floor” of the metal composition, perhaps as made in the casting process, and not particularly noticeable. Figures probably early 20th century with late 20th century lamp fittings.
