  • "Jody G.: Yes, of course."

    Feb. 3, 2018, 2:07 p.m.

  • "no, i didn't receive the messages. let me know if for reason the sale doesn't go through"

    Feb. 3, 2018, 9:53 a.m.

  • "Jody G.: Hi Jody, Sorry for the disappointment. I released the hold on the table on Feb. 1st. I messaged you twice to let you know that same day. I don't know if you received those messages. I wonder sometimes if all the messages go through because I think I have missed some messages from buyers on this site in the past. I was surprised to see it sold so fast after the release because this table has been listed for months with very little interest. Again, so sorry for the disappointment ."

    Feb. 3, 2018, 8:46 a.m.

  • "that is a bummer because I have been watching for weeks for the HOLD to be released. I am disappointed."

    Feb. 3, 2018, 6:35 a.m.

  • "Jody G.: So sorry, it sold this morning. I thought maybe you had purchased it. I had an interested buyer that asked me to hold it until the end of January, which I did. I released it on Feb. 1st. because he never contacted me again. I don't know who purchased it, they don't give a name."

    Feb. 2, 2018, 12:55 p.m.

  • "can you hold for me if it is still available?"

    Feb. 2, 2018, 12:30 p.m.

  • "let me know because I think it is pretty amazing and have been watching it to see if the hold was released. It was several weeks of HOLD."

    Feb. 2, 2018, 12:28 p.m.

  • "I am confused, it says the table is SOLD?"

    Feb. 2, 2018, 12:27 p.m.

  • "Thomas B.: I have released the hold on the table. I hope you are still interested in the table and will go ahead with the purchase, but I have had other people interested in it. Please let me know your plans as I did make it unavailable for a long time. Thanks."

    Feb. 1, 2018, 10:58 a.m.

  • "Jody G.: Hi Jody, the table is available. I just released it from being on hold this morning. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!"

    Feb. 1, 2018, 10:55 a.m.

  • "so this is NOT available???"

    Feb. 1, 2018, 10:34 a.m.

  • "Jody G.: I have released the hold on the table in case you are still interested. Thank you for your interest."

    Feb. 1, 2018, 6:32 a.m.

  • "Jody G.: i had a buyer that asked me to hold until end of today. I will contact him to see if he is going to buy and get back to you later today."

    Jan. 31, 2018, 4:30 p.m.

  • "is this still on hold"

    Jan. 31, 2018, 12:20 p.m.

  • "Thank you, Barbara! I will process the last day of the month. Exciting to have a little bit of Tucson in my life again. I think it will work. Thank you!"

    Jan. 11, 2018, 8:37 p.m.

  • "Thomas B.: Hi Thomas, I will go ahead and put a hold on the table. Please let me know when you are ready to purchase so that I can remove the hold and proceed with the sale. Thanks again, Barbara"

    Jan. 11, 2018, 5:41 p.m.

  • "Hi Barbara, Thank you, I think this will work if I can tuck the two chairs with arms under the table 16" - the extra 4" each won't stick out too much for the room. If the hold option is available, let's do that to the end of the end of the month."

    Jan. 10, 2018, 9:39 p.m.

  • "Thomas B.: Hello Thomas, I contacted Chairish and was told they do not have available an option for payments as you have suggested. The only way for us to do this would for me to put the table on hold, which removes it from availability for purchase by other buyers. If you are certain about purchasing the table I would be willing to wait for payment until the end of January. In other words, it would be based on your promise to purchase at that time. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks! Barbara"

    Jan. 9, 2018, 4:03 p.m.

  • "Thomas B.: That would be fine with me but not sure how to go about it. Let me check with Chairish and get back to you. It may take me a few hours. I will be on touch. Thanks - Barbara"

    Jan. 9, 2018, 10:19 a.m.

  • "Suspiros: Hi Barbara, Thank you for responding. I like it and think it will fit. Is there a way I can hold it until the end of month with a certain amount down and pay the balance and shipping then?"

    Jan. 9, 2018, 12:16 a.m.

  • "Thomas B.: Thank you for your interest in my table. The chair measures 28.5 inches from bottom of table top to floor, so I think your chairs should fit dine under table. The distance from table edge to cross bar under table is 13 inches. I have used chairs with seat depths of 16" and legs fit comfortably under the table. Please let me know when you receive this message because in the past my responses to questions do not get thru on Chairish. Thanks again, Barbara"

    Jan. 7, 2018, 6:13 p.m.

  • "Hi, I have chairs that have a seat depth of 20" and a width of 21.5" with an arm height of 27.5". How much if any of the chair will fit on long ends of the table? Thanks so much! Fond memories of Tucson!"

    Jan. 7, 2018, 1:16 p.m.

  • "mmeador: sorry - part 2 of my response. Most all scratches are superficial and only visible at an angle. Some of the chips and scratches will require filling if you plan to refinish. I do not believe it has ever been refinished. The burn mark is abo ut 3/4 inch long and will also require a little fill. I do not see any problem with it being refinished. I think this a great table. Hope this helps. Please advise if you do receive this message because I did not receive your first message. Thanks for interest."

  • "mmeador: good morning! I have taken a xareful look ar the table again so i will answer your questions to the best of my ability. The table is not solid walnut. My u derstanding is that it is walnut veenered. The leaves drop and lift smoothly and are supported underneath by a sliding wood bar. The leaves clear 16.5 inches at lowest point so chairs would have to be angled of center if you want to leave them in place. There are several scratches and a few chips. Most all of the scratches are superficial."

  • "mmeador: Hello, not sure you received my reply. I apologize for late response, I was out of the country until this evening. If it is ok with you I will answer your questions in the morning when lighting is better. Right now the table is covered and in storage but I want to be very accurate in my response so I will take another look at it then. Thank you for your interest! Barbara"

  • "mmeador: So sorry for late response. I was out of the country until this evening. The table has never been refinished. If you would like i would prefer to respond to your questions tomorrow morning when i have better lighting. The table is currently covered and in storage. I will examine it again in the morning and get back to you. Thanks for your interest!"

  • "Good afternoon, I am resending prior questions as I am not certain if you received. "Is the tabletop solid walnut? Do the leaves let down smoothly? When the leaves are down, do they clear the chairs (17.5" height) so that they can stay in place? Can you describe in more detail the scratches, chips? Are they superficial? Repairable if refinished? What is the size of the burn mark? Is it superficial? Has the table ever been refinished? Thank you""

  • "Christie L.: Apologies for late response. We are having internet issues. When both leaves are down the table is 20" wide the whole length of the table. When only one of the leaves is down it is 32" wide at widest part (center). Since the side of the table curves it gradually narrows towards the end. Imagine a surfboard with flat ends on both sides. It really us a neat table that can be used in so many ways. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Regards, Barbara"
