Rare and very special vintage Jay Spectre sofa newly reupholstered in Maharam's Charcoal Alpaca Velvet. This quintessential Jay Spectre piece is prominently featured on the cover of his book, "Point of View: Design by Jay Spectre" (1991). The sofa is down and extremely plush, with the trademark Jay Spectre curves and proportions. The brand new Maharam velvet upholstery is 100% alpaca, making it both luxuriously soft and durable with a Martindale rating of 100,000 cycles. It has the look and feel of Mohair. This one-of-a-kind sofa is as cozy as it is striking.
The height of the sofa listed (27.5") is without the back pillows. Each back pillow is roughly 19" x 19." Total height of the sofa, including the back pillows, is approximately 36".
