Fine old painting of bread vendors on the street. The male vendor has been overlooked in favor of two beautiful women. He never had a chance!

Painted with oils on canvas. There is some paint loss and craquelure (consistent with age) throughout the painting, but we think this adds a lot of character to this old painting. The painting is signed in the lower right corner (illegible). Housed in a frame from the 1930s or 40s.

Canvas dimensions 20" x 30". The frame measures 25 3/4" x 35 3/4".

The frame is for added support only. A new frame could give this wonderful painting a new life. See less
